Always have lubed my EDC Ammo

I have always put silicone on my EDC ammo before loading the magazine. Last thing anyone wants is any malfunction when you really need it. I have let mags sit as long as 6 months loaded with silicone coated ammo regardless of caliber and then fired all as smooth as silk. Just what I do and it works for me.

Thanks for all your replies everyone!
I have tried quite a few different brands of ammo, including but not limited to Rem Thunderbolts, which generally run quite well, Blaser, Scoremaster, Wolf, Aquila, CCI, Federal,Eley, RWS and Geco. Geco comes well lubed, and it seems to work quite well.

I am referring in my questions to .22 rimfire ammo only, NOT centerfire, although I believe that in some situations, such as certain machine guns, even centerfire ammo is lubed. At any rate, I have some Dry silicone spray lube on order, will see how it works and report back.

Thanks!
Joe W
