I think I already know the answer to this but does VQ. offer any blued hammers? I bought one on Ebay and it came in the mail today(it did come in the correct VQ. packaging), it was blued. Is there any way to verify if it's a VQ? Because this looks like a factory hammer that someone had tinkered with and to top it off the sear spring looks like its been clipped.

Mine are unblued also.. The only ones I know that are blued are the factory hammers. You might want to call VQ and ask them whether or not they sold blued ones before acting.

Mine is silver. Always check the feedback of sellers on ebay, or never buy from the place. My experiences on ebay have been some of my worst buying experiences ever.

Was there a picture with the auction? I only buy things I see a picture of. If there's not one I demand one from the seller. If they've not invested in a digital camera for their online sales business they're not reliable enough for me.

All the VQ hammers I have seen are stainless. Even the hammer in the blued TG2000 unit is stainless.

Hate to say this but I think you where raped. Every single VQ hammer I've ever seen has been silver. I have to agree with the above comments, pictures of the actual piece for sale and even though I've found 99% of all the Internet sales and buying I've done where honest, I've never done any buying or selling on Ebay. It's just too big and easy for someone to take another. Your better off and safer with sigs that are more private, or only deal with one type of hobby, not everything from A to Z...just my .22 cents.....

Ya thats what I thought, how are VQs made are they machined or do they start with a cast/forging? cuz this one definately has casting marks. looks like some dumb arse polished it with a dermal (I know from experience what a dermal polish job looks like). I'm still waiting for a reply from the seller. Oh ya there was a picture (bit blury) showing a hammer 2 springs in a VQ bag.

File a complaint with Paypal/Ebay. I've only been burned once, and they took care of me. Just watch the sellers feedback before you buy.
