Didn't mean to go off topic.
Not off topic at all,,,
I enjoy the stories of the rifles,,,
As much as reading about the rifles themselves.

Thanks for posting,,,

That's a nice clean S&L. I have two very similar. Bought one from a shooting buddy, liked it so much that I bought another from Tradex.

Thanks. I've had it for a few months now but still haven't shot it. Not sure how to use the sights or what ammo to get LOL. I mostly have bulk stuff for my plinkers....

So I don't have one yet as we haven't released them but my new favorite is gonna be the CRICKETT CPR.

Still haven't figured how to get pictures to upload, it keeps telling me they "exceed my quota"

Check it out here.......as long as I'm allowed to post this

That Crickett is a crack-up,,,

That Crickett is a crack-up,,,
I would like to read more about them.

I went to the Crickett website and the Keystone website and found nothing.

Do you have a direct link that isn't on Facebook?

I don't do social media at all.

Hell PlentyCoups,,,

I have an H&R Sportster as well,,,
You can't get much more basic than that rifle.

I have a 4X Cabela's scope on mine,,,
It has more inherent accuracy than my old eyes can utilize.

It's a great little field rifle,,,
And I love ejecting the empties over my shoulder.

Gotta' say its a 1913 Anschutz. It's a head-n gun that I don't have to tinker with or make excuses for. It honestly tells me where I pointed it.

Someone mentioned earlier an Ithaca 49, a slick, handily designed gun. My brother had one of those. As near as we could tell, someone rifled the barrel on Friday, and come Monday someone rifled it again. I'll tell you, rifling on rifling doesn't work.

My new favorite S/S is an Anschutz 54 MS. The superb 5018 trigger is set at 3.5 oz.

I only have two Winchester 60a and a stevens crackshot 26. As i need a mainspring for the crackshot I have not shot it yet. So the 60a it is, it is a good shooter
