This old junk has got me by the troat this morning, full blown crud now, but I intend to live thruit.

52, wind S 7, RH 89%, feels like 50 and the sun is out! Big improvement there.

And in the good news dept., there is this:

https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2020/02/15/...tle-once-more/

Very nice to see these young ladies get some positive recognition and good press. Locally, about all we ever see is the MSM's buzz werd negativity regarding firearms of any sort, so this was a real treat. Have an acquaintance who is heavily involved w/them supplying eely good stuff, rifles like those seen, accoutrements, wonderful free coaching assistance/support &c. My old master machinist bud fabricated parts for him for some of the older Olympic type 'Ann Shoots' sights & other stuff when they were no longer being made & existent old stock was gone to keep them running. International Shooters Supply.

Big time major, whot those young ladies have accomplished! I'm hoping they will do a repeat and keep the title.

Condolences on the loss of your family friend, Hawkeye.

I'm having gruel for breakfast as a side to my OTC soft gels and contemplating taking a hot soak, since its Saturday* and all. May have to use some saddle soap this time; last of the lye soap was used a week ago. That stuff is hard on wizened onion skin thin leathered geezer hide anyway and leaves a feller red as a beet, on the white parts. My dermatologist is against my using it anyway. She didn't say anything about saddle soap, but then I didn't ask her.

* Well, it was last night.

It's in the low 40s today with a touch of rain this afternoon.

Ya know, I've taken nearly 1200 pictures a WEEK with my cameras.
It's a fun hobby! (digital film is cheap...)

Life is good!

We'll I guess it could stand for Middle Aged White Women, but in this case I meant Middle Aged Wizard Woman.

That is an interesting flat spring. You may have to make one.

Couldn't finish my chicken from last night so I had it for breakfast with a couple toaster waffles to finish out.

I prefer to be an adult in moderation.

Better increase your ammo budget.

House dusted and vacuumed. Waiting on the new printer. Scheduled for delivery today. Trouble shot home WiFi. My son was complaining of it being slow for his stupid PS4 gaming. Internet surfing was no problem. So I ran a speed test and got 40 down 17 up. My computer guy at work told me that was way slow and I had a problem. Ugh, an hour on the phone with Verizon and Im all good at 150 down and just over 200 up. No more problem with the PS4.

Back from making groceries. Reloaded the bird feeders and took the trash tote out to the road. The sun is nice but the wind bitter.

I was doing okay until I pushed too hard and begin a bout of coughing and hacking.

Sorry about your friend Hawk.

Home at last. Church and then treated Pie Zanos owners [husband and wife] to brunch. Sat and talked for some time. Gave waitress [who was very good] and extra good tip as we tired up one of her tables [very busy place]. They moved here from NJ. Lived and opened a place in Wake Forest. Moved to Rolesville and brought their business with them. Love it. Have a big following. Valentines evening, 1 1/2 hour wait for take out. They are not slow. That much business. Restaurant was that backed up too. He is always giving me free meals. Best pizza and Italian in the world.

Wifey going to in-laws' to do more cleaning with Sister. Told them to look in that big out building. Unbelievable. Sister-IL's hubby said we will make Nephew come and get. I said no. Sell it to pay rent he never paid. He agreed.

I'm headed to the gro for Wifey. Then paint the window thingy I did yesterday.

Szumi and wook, get well.

Hawkeye, sorry for your loss.

Have a good one.

Al, 61 and partly cloudy.
