Txtrout,

That would be the wonderful team of Leroy and Connie Barry of Canyon Creek Custom gunstocks in Darby Montana. They do exceptional work and can make your dreams and imaginations come true! I have them on speed dial! Wonderful people with whom I will use again many times I am sure. Many projects on the back burners!

Beautiful rifle but I'm good with my 1717D just as it is.

They are awesome. Thatís why we started with Anschutz. What a platform.

Agreed, my 1717D was my first Anschutz, then a 1710HB which I sold and then purchased a 1710DKL, next a 1720D and the last a Leroy stocked 1702HB in Myrtle with ebony tip and pistol grip cap.

The first

Nice Rifles

I cannot afford ones like those Beauties. But I do want one. Mine will likely just be a Marlin 25MN when the time comes. Buddy has one sitting in wait for me. I just never have the money,LOL

For now My Marlins in 22 Mag and 17 Mach2 will suffice till then.

I started the Rimfire magnum world with a marlin 783 in 1987. Loved it!

Simply stunning, and may not ever be bested in the custom class.

This is a straight factory offering where I got pretty lucky.
Anschutz 1727F.
In more subdued lighitng.

And it's nasty accurate, shooting my best ever 5 shot group at 50yds from any rifle I own.

It also holds 3rd place at 50 yds, and 2nd place at 100yds in RFC's 17 HMR 50/100 yard contest. And I limited my attempts to a maximum of 12 targets total.
https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forum...d.php?t=219517

Smooth

It actually should hold the record at 50yds, but I shot it on an unofficial target, so it was disqualified . But I'm not bitter.
Two 5 shot groups for a .150 avg.
Here is what the official target looks like, and this is my 100yd 2nd place target.
