I bought a set for my S&W .460.
I don't remember exactly what broke on them, but, I sent them in and they sent me a replacement set, which I sold.
No more for ME

Warne Maxima QD and Leupold QRW (not vertical split) are hands down, the BEST rings on the market when it comes to holding zero after removing and reinstalling an optic. Theyíre both SO good that I have them on 90% of my rifles. I routinely remove my scopes when I disassemble and clean my rifles. Itís MUCH easier to do a thorough job of scrubbing out the receiver & brushing the bore when you donít have to worry about getting oil or solvent on the scope or lenses.
Using Warne QD & Leupold QRWs allows me to do just that and I rarely need to adjust the windage or elevation turrets the next time I shoot. If I do, itís always limited to one 1/4Ē click @ 100, so the amount is minuscule.
For me- and the way I maintain my firearms, high quality quick detach rings are a worthwhile investment- although it does get expensive when you have a couple dozen scoped rifles with QD rings, especially the extra tall Warnes I have on my ARs.

I like vertically split rings, I don't do much removing of scopes, or switch them often. Probably because I'm not very cool, and I'm a belt and suspenders kind of guy (not that I actually wear suspenders ).

Decades ago I was reading an article about an African dangerous game rifle, and the author said if could he'd have the iron sights swaged peened and screwed on if he could, just to foil Murphy. I think he was engaging in a little hyperbole for effect, but still, my kind of guy.
