I Run a pistol team and a rifle team and am always donating cleaning supplies to new shooters to keep their firearms.

I also let them use my firearms to get started and to give them a chance to try various firearms before they decide on a model for purchase.

If I am a lucky winner, those cleaning supplies will help me out a lot.

Thank you very much and you have a great day.

Just like past giveaways, I’ll be running this as a RAFFLE. I will be collecting NAMES POSTED IN THIS THREAD and throwing them in the old Panama Jack hat throughout the month of September. The drawing for the THREE winners will be the last weekend of September. Posting in this thread will get your name entered ONCE. Any PIF donations you’ve made in the past will earn you EXTRA entries, INCREASING your chances to win. This will INCLUDE Pay it Forward donations you make during the month of September, so if you want to increase your chances, Pay it Forward NOW.

*Please DO NOT try entering by sending me a PM, I will only
be using posts in this thread to make entries to the hat.
(Unless there are special circumstances you’d like to share that you don’t want to state publicly, I try to read all my mail- but you still need to enter by posting HERE)

If you’re interested in making your own Gunner Tools, there’s a pic-heavy sticky thread in the Shooting Accessories forum with detailed instructions on the materials and techniques that I use, so you can try your hand at making your own if you’re so inclined. Click on this link to navigate to that thread:

How to Make Gunner Tools

The contents of the Gunner kits has evolved and improved over the years.

This giveaway’s kits will each include:

Gunner Kit Contents

*1 x Gunner Chamber handle mounted w/

*1 x.22 Otis brass brush with reusable clear cylindrical brush protector with end caps, one slotted.

*1 x .22 Otis nylon brush with reusable cylindrical brush protector with end caps, one slotted.

*1 Spare .22 Otis Bronze brush in a cylindrical protector w/end caps

*1 Spare .22 Otis Nylon brush in a cylindrical protector w/end caps

*1 Spare .25 Otis Bronze brush in a cylindrical protector w/end caps
(Carbon Ring Eliminator)

*1 x Breakthrough Clean Technologies Flexible cable set.
Kit contains:

*1 x 33”- 8/32 thread nylon coated steel cable with brass thread fittings, for pulling brushes & loop jags.

*1 x 8”- 8/32 thread nylon coated steel cable with brass thread fittings, for pulling brushes & loop jags.

CLICK HERE to view the Breakthrough Clean Technologies cables.

1 x Breakthrough Clean Technologies Polymer “T”-handle, attaches to the 2 pull through cables listed above.

CLICK HERE to view the Breakthrough Clean Technologies T handle.

*1 x 5”x5”x2” Clear plastic hinged lid case, perfect for storing and packing the Breakthrough Clean Technologies components, .22 Gunner Button pullers & .22 Gunner Jagsnake.

*1 “Gunner Jagsnake” slotted end .22 loop style patch puller with reusable clear cylindrical tool protector.

*10 “Gunner Patchsnake” button pullers, rough sized for .22 bores.

Why TEN?

Because I prefer having a loose pull button @ approximately .17-.18” to apply solvent and remove most of the schmutz from the bore with low resistance and friction, AND-

A larger .19-.21” tight button for deep cleaning with high pressure that forces the felt pellet and flannel patch deep into the lands and grooves.

So, two sets of pullers, with enough to keep a set on your work bench and a set in your range bag, plus spares just in case you want to give one away at the range, which somehow happens to me all the time!

*Patchsnake destructions

*1/2”x6” dowel for pulling patches

*100x 6” Micro tip swabs

*100x 6” Cotton “Q-Tip” swabs

*Bag o patches, Shooters Choice, 1.25” Round Cotton Flannel, approximately 200ct

1 Package of Tipton .22 Ct Felt cleaning pellets with jag.

I’ve started using these felt pellets ALONG WITH a flannel patch on my Gunner Patchsnake button pullers. Does an even better job at cleaning!

*1 “M16 Toothbrush” double ended action scrub brush, extra stiff bristles

*1 “M16 Toothbrush” double ended action scrub brush, medium stiff bristles

*1 Needle tip oiler bottle, for precise dispensation of oil/Eezox/CLP.

*1 Eezox 1.5 oz Drip bottle

TO ENTER THE RAFFLE, POST IN THIS THREAD. LIST THE NUMBER OF PAST PIF DONATIONS YOU’VE MADE TO INCREASE YOUR CHANCES WITH MORE ENTRIES.
*IF YOU DO POST AN ITEM FOR PIF DURING THIS RAFFLE, POST BACK HERE TO HAVE ANOTHER ENTRY ADDED TO THE HAT BEFORE THE DRAWING ON 9/30/21.

EDIT- FlysAlot Added one of these handy cases for each winner! What a fine gentleman!

GOOD LUCK!!!

DrGunner

George- sounds like a great thing you do there.
My current “batch” is up to 6 kits I have to complete by 9/30/21, which is a LOT of work- 60 button pullers for example.
If you don’t win, keep a lookout in future months as I may repeat this PIF.
Remember, you can increase your chances of winning by making PIF donations during the month of September!

To all participating in this raffle: if you have made PIF donations in the past, you need to let me know, as each one will earn you another entry and increase your chances of winning. This includes PIF donations made during the month of September so dig through your parts bins and increase your odds and help others out, it’s a WIN-WIN, not to mention KARMA!!!

Maybe... maybe not. Right now the tally stands at 55? 56 entries- Panama Jack has seen bigger totals before. I write the name on a little 1/2”x2” strip of paper & fold it up into a little square. The hat is only at about 10% capacity as of right now.
As always happens, I end up promising extra kits to a few members behind the scenes each time I do this. Right now, I’ve committed to 7 kits by the end of the month. I counted out, cut, coiled and zip-tied 75 button puller blanks today. That ran my current 3lb spool of Oregon .095” trimmer line empty. I purchased that one in January of this year. A 3 pound spool is 866 feet of trimmer line divided by 3 1/2 feet of line to make each button or slotted/loop jag style puller blank, which comes out to roughly 250 tools per spool. That was the 11th spool that I’ve purchased since I started giving these away back in 2011 or so.

Methinks I’m a little insane, lol
