New Federal bulk pack hp's

A few weeks back I bought, fired and reported that Federal 729 40gr LRN was a very accurate round in some of my guns.
I just bought a box of the Federal 730 load which is a 38 gr CPHP listed at 1260 fps.
I shot it in my CZ UL and got sub .5 inch at 50 yards, same in my CZ Scout and .3 in my T/C 23" match barrel contender carbine.
CZ 452 American only got .6 but for bulk that ain't bad but the solids shoot sub 1/2 inch in that gun. Go figure.
This stuff shoots great if your gun likes it.
I saw a thread from 10 years back about a Federal load 730 but not enough info available to determine if this is same or a totally new load.
As advertised they do hit same point of impact, at least at 50 yards anyway.
Give them a try. fd

I bought a bulk pak myself. Probably same as 712 just a different box so they give it a different #.

I saw the 38 grain CPHP at Cabellas a few weeks ago and grabbed one box to try. We shot the entire box in mostly pistols. Victory, SW compact both suppressed. Also a Mark II, Beretta 21A Bobcat, and a P22. Very impressive performance. I went back and bought 4 more boxes the next week. I did not shoot it for groups, just at steel so I can't speak to accuracy. I can tell you I could hit a 6"
Plate at 20 yards with the tiny Bobcat pretty regular. I also managed to hit a 6" plate at 76 yards with the S&W victory, but only hit 2-3 times per magazine. That's the same results I get from any ammo. That's a tough but fun shot I do all the time.

No. They got some in but the night shift employee's brother-in-law got them before they hit the shelf.

Please, let's not turn this into another WM bashing thread. They get deleted.

As I wrote late last week (and got deleted yesterday) local WM had 525 packs of 745 Champion for $20.97. That's only 4 cents a round, the cheapest ammo I've seen in probably 10 years.
The 745 is 1260fps, 36gn CPHP.

I went back to that store this morning and they were out, but got some WW Super-X (PP1) for $6.92/100.

Edit: I'm going to the range tomorrow and will try out the 745. I expect them to score pretty well as their AutoMatch is one of the most accurate HVs in my LVT.

I got 3 of the 525 rds of load # 745.

I'm getting a lot more failure to fire compared to the Federal automatch.

I don't think they are the same as 712 at all. 710 and 712 shoot fine in my guns and group OK. Every Federal Bulk pack I bought shot below average and the groups always opened up with all my 22's. I don't bother with bulk ammo any more.
However the price is pretty decent and I do get a box here and there when I find them for <5 cents/round and use them for plinking only. I also never had an FTE or FTF and they cycle fine in my semi-autos. I just don't use bulk ammo at the range any longer.
