Anyone know?

Thanks!

I used the DNZ XT one piece on my XT22M after playing with a couple 2 piece mounts. More money but imo worth every penny. My 40MM scope just clears the barrel sight and I suppose your 42MM would too. Screws down to existing holes and will never slip.

Appreciate that, but I'm going to use the bases it came with. I've read everything I could find but I still have no clue on height

Using the Marlin supplied bases, the Weaver Grand Slam medium rings left the scope just barely touching the barrel, the highs kept the scope about 1/4" off the barrel.......

I have Weaver 4-16X 42mm AO scope mounted on my CZ452 American using the Burris Signature Zee rings. The inserts help align the scope tube for easy sighting in and they also protect the scope tube.
JoeBob's has the best price around.....

Weaver Quad lock rings

Weaver High Quad locks with 40mm objective and scope covers will still fit.
Weaver Xtra High Quad locks for 42 mm and up. (10 bucks at Walmart)

I used the same on my XT22-VR. Comfortable height and good clearance for bolt handle.
