I didn't know they was making a semi auto! I see there web shows this model as well
RS22W2111.. Also a bolt action Rossi RB22M. There's a vid on u tube & the bolt gun looks like a shooter! I haven't check around but it runs 150.00 or so.

The semi auto are expensive! Looks like a savage style adjustable trigger though & thats nice.. If it shoots as well as the bolt gun it may be worth the $$.

Just got my RS22MW2111 yesterday 5/20/20

Got it home and mounted a Vortex Copperhead 4x14x44 using Monstrum rings. Will boresight tonight and will have to get to a Wisconsin range when I am sure the DNR allows it. I live in Minnesota and all the gun ranges are private and closed to non-members until June at the earliest. I've got the blue state blues. I can shoot pistols indoors, and trap and skeet outdoors, but not rifles outdoors. Go figure. Bought 3 different brands of ammo to try.
BYW, gunshop owner says the supplier is running out of the popular guns of all brands. He said I may have bought the last of this model until they resupply someday. There was another Rossi (don't know which) waiting for pickup when I got mine. Not much in the way of info on this model and Rossi is out of magazines for it. $225 for the rifle; $125 for the scope and $17 for the rings (from Amazon).

You most often get just what you pay for.

And sometimes you get a surprise According to the vid on the bolt gun the rifle has potential. Don't like the looks of the clip on the auto loader, but ya never know, it may feed & function fine.

This model is not on Rossi's USA website and seems to be more than twice the cost of the RS22MW2111 and seems to be identical. This gun is on the International Rossi site. The USA site is completely different. I see you are from New Zealand. I thought they were outlawing all guns there.

Hopefully, they will get more of the magazines. Currently, Rossi USA has none.

They're certainly trying to....
So far its all Semi-auto centrefires, rimfire semis with more than 10 rnd mags, shotgun semis and pumps with more than 5rnds, pump action rimfires with more than 10 rnds.
The commy c&#ts are busting to get rid of all our guns though.
We're doing our best to challenge what they're doing.
Its a big fight and we need all shooters to back us but we have a huge FUDD problem.
Unfortunately we don't have a 2A. And our Commonwealth Bill of Rights doesn't give us "rights" like the US Constitution. The govt has used the Order in Council to basically make up what they want to be able to ban anything and everything. Pretty much same as what Canada is going through now as well.

Vortex Diamonback 4x14x44. Took it to the range and lo and behold Savage A22 ammo kept FTEing (every 5 shots on average) and FTFing (the rims had nice strike marks) I could fire the ammo when I put it back in the magazine.. Worse, I had not checked the Picatinny that comes installed on the rifle. It came loose and I was all over the place. Took it home and took everything off. Dismantled and cleaned the action thoroughly. Took the rail off, cleaned it, and underneath it (wet with oil) and the receiver holes with isopropyl alcohol. put oil in a rag wiped the entire receiver and wiped it until it was dry. I used blue loctite on EVERY screw on the rail and scope rings, remounted and zeroed the scope, and then boresighted it again. BTW, Federal and CCI ammo worked fine.

I hope you get that little rifle shooting like you want. It looks like a very interesting new addition to the market for a 22 mag!

My local store has the Rossi RS22M in stock for $230 and I've had my eye on it for a bit, actually I should have bought it by now but I've been holding off due to the covid-19 stuff as people in stores are acting weird. 6 months ago I bought the Rossi RS22 (22LR) and it's a very nice shooter and very accurate, my only complaint with that rifle was the trigger as it was heavy. I did find a trigger spring by Mcarbo and installed it and it brought the pull weight down to an acceptable level, but it was a pain to install. Other than that I really like the rifle as it's very ergonomic in the hands and very light weight.
