new section for sw22 victory
Would it be possible to get a new section for the sw22 victory?
Our one allotted thread has like 600+ posts to it.

I agree. Everything getting dumped into one 40+ page and being relegated to one thread is stifling. What is the intention of moving all threads into one thread?

This sounds great! Thanks for running with it. This has been needing to happen for awhile.

1) A sub thread for the Victory
Or
2) All new posts just go into the current "other S&W Auto's" section (no more lumping all into one.
The pistol is getting enough history that people are doing different things (shorting the barrel, sight bases) etc. I agree they need to be separated.
Either way I've got to run it by the Admin and get her buy in!
I'm on it...

I like the idea of a sub thread myself . This pistol is taking off quickly and when the aftermarket gets things going it will be like the Rugers and Buckmarks . Besides barrels from Volquartzen grips are in the works and possibly target sights from what the local gun shop near me has been telling customers .

Jason @ MaddMacs Precision Tactical, did a great job on my mount and barrel work. Thanks Jason! He is a RFC Vendor so look him up if you need some work done, I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks to Pq49z, Trent and everyone else who has paved the way on this new model. More pics next post

I think after seeing both it's a complete toss-up, both look good. The finish Jason put on mine was Dura-Coat Black Oxide, ends up matching the Burris finish almost exactly.

I think its worthy of its own subsection within the s&w section. I think its already been said, but I REALLY see it developing a strong following very similar to the ruger mark series, and the 10/22 lineup for 2 main reasons.
first, the initial investment is quite fair. considering the very reasonable price that these are selling for (as low as $329 and Bud's), especially being all stainless, I don't think the popularity will wane. these are roughly 1/2 the price of a 617 revolver, and what, 1/3 or less than the cost of a 41? I see a big market for these, especially when comparing the cost and ease of takedown /cleaning to the mark series.
second, I also agree with a previous poster that the aftermarket availability of accessories and upgrades will be huge, and it will help keep the sw22 popular for a looong time. similar to the ruger marks, I can see a wide variety of offerings coming for barrels, sights, grips, triggers... I think that growing aftermarket will keep this gun fresh for lots of shooters for quite some time.

I have tons of firearms. I always go to the range.
This SW22 Victory encouraged me to build a 51 yard range in my empty back lot. I shoot from my back porch. I got me a nice bench and a Caldwell DFT Lead Sled shooting rest for my CZ rifles.
I like to shoot tennis balls off a 6X6 post laid sideways on cinder blocks at 25 yards with my SW22. With the high dollar match ammo I can one hole targets at 51 yards with my CZ 452 and 455.
****es the neighbors off but I don't like them anyway. All I shoot is .22lr at home. If they call the police I'll pull out the Colt LE6920 with the BumpFire stock and use that every Saturday.
As Hickok45 says "Life is good".
