Well Bobís group above is a hard act to follow but hereís mine, just shot today, 7/6/18, while I was testing a new lot of Federal UM. Glad my DJ Custom 455 likes it cause I bought a case of it. Itís a 5 round group shot at 50 yards. Winds were about 5 mph from my one oíclock.

452 Trainer with a 32hp Mueller scope

Did it the hard way. One shot, one kill.

There are some amazing shot groups here. I wish we had the internet when I was young. Lots of great info.

New personal best a few weeks ago. It's a far more modest group and rifle as befits my more modest skill and budget. My local range is best setup for 50y.

455 VTC, SWFA 12x42. Fastenal spring cut down, about 1.5#. Shot off a cheap Caldwell bipod with a rolled up towel for a rear "bag" using $6 Federal Match.

50 meter testing with Eley tenex in my CZ 452

200 meters testing with same gun and ammo. The first shot was holding for wind, wich was to much. The other four had the same aiming pont.

Shot this the other day while testing out some new ammo. It's BBM Semi-Auto, which is made by RWS and essentially just their ammo in rebranded packaging. It was a steal, at $4.75 a box/50, and shoots really, really well. I've been happy to shoot frequent groups in the 0.1's with my rifle, a Custom 455 with 3-groove Lilja barrel, but I don't remember shooting anything in the 0.0's in the year that I've had the rifle. Here it is!

I disagree....he missed it by that much.

What? You expected me to miss out on an opportunity to yank Rabid's chain?

My best was with a Savage that looks exactly like the camo CZ Prec Trainer above which I have a long barrel version. But the Savave shot a .198 5 shot group at 85 yards with TAC 22. 10 groups & every one got a little better, wish I'd have bought more than 1 box. Still shooting it at 300 yards 10+ cases later. Paid $275/shipped used on here when I 1st got into rimfire to practice cheap for CF extreme long range.
