Need Help Finding Aftermarket Barrel, plz!!

Log in to see fewer ads
So, a few musts...

- Needs to be threaded
- Needs to be 18"
- Needs to be .920" diameter
- Needs to be high quality/very accurate
- Needs to be lightweight

(Not finding anything longer than 16" for the Tactical Solutions though....I'd like to not spend over $275 on the barrel...)

I am led to the Tactical Solutions Threaded barrel...only problem is that I can't find the correct length?!??

Can someone either help me find the TS barrel or another barrel that readily fits the bill?!!?

Check this!

Just bought a Feddersen 18" barrel that is honed, fluted, and threaded.

From what I have seen, admittedly not a lot yet, it is a great barrel for the price.

ETA: Man, I didn't even see all of the individual threads for them on this forum. I am pumped! It will be a host for my SS Silencerco Sparrow so the thread concentricity is of huge importance....even still, from what I read, I shouldn't have an issue with concentricity.

The feddersen is what I want...and shipped at $50 less than the KIDD.

I should clarify, if I didn't already, that this isn't going on a precision build really and though the Feddersen barrels seem top notch from what I read, that will just be icing on the cake. The barrel needs to be 18" to maintain OAL requirements.

You said you wanted a lightweight barrel? It sounds like your putting together a bullpup!

Indeed!

I opted out of the barrel fluting, however, as I can always swap barrels later and I prefer non fluted barrels when the barrel is fully exposed (on .22lr). It won't be a precision build, per se, but added accuracy is always welcomed.

I just bought a new and unfired High Tower Armory Bullpup with a 10/22 inside.

I have bought an extended magazine release and auto bolt release for the project. I also plan on getting some trigger work done. I sold my real PS90 when the craze hit bad since ammunition was unobtainable....Don't regret it either, but I wouldn't mind the feel and handiness in a convenient little .22lr package.

I also have a Silencerco Sparrow I will use on the project. I may submit a Form 1 to SBR it depending on how it looks with the bull barrel and silencer attached.

Already bought the barrel.

Another issue was finding one in stock. I, as stated, already bought the barrel however.

You will love the Fedderson.I did have to install the Kidd extractor to eject unfired rounds consistantly though. The factory and the Voltz were not as reliable in my particular rifle.
