Will a Trimag work with a butler creek speed loader?

I had a customer ask me, but I dont own a bc speed loader, so I have no idea.

I'm pretty sure it won't. Thanks to anyone who can help

Why would he want to use it. The ten round magazines are easy to load.

I have a BC loader from the first year or three of production and it positively does NOT work on Ruger mags or anything with steel lips.

It's my understanding (after being "corrected" here) that newer models are designed to work on BC SteelLips and stock Ruger magazines, but I have no direct knowledge on this myself.

Big help, right?

My BC loader works fine with the factory mags and works with the trimag.

My BC loader is too tight for the ten rounders to fit.

hope this helps. I just grabbed 3 random mags and stuck 'em in tri-mag to take the pic. You'll notice the hold down lever wont rotate into position, I just hold the mag in with my thumb. On this loader the factories fit fine and it sucks that other folk's don't, cause I really like the way it works. It's one of the best things BC ever made as far as I'm concerned.
