after cosulting with 2 suhl gurus....

here on this forum....you know who you are....i would like to hear others thoughts and opinions/advice on a glue in method as opposed to pillar/bedding....has anybody tried it ...any noticable improvements...the way i figure is that if you got rid of that square piece of steel in the factory stock then glued action in....there should now be no stress on the action at all and a glue type install would transfer vibrations to the stock even better...feel free to share your thoughts.....still learning and still having fun doing it...

I am not understanding where the stress is coming from with pillars and bedding? All being equal! you should be able start at about 10 Inchlbs and work up to where it shoot's the best remeber we are working with ordnce grade steel that is meant to take alot more stress than 30 inch lbs on two screws!

I don't like the idea of glueing in a ferrous receiver. Eventually rust is going to be a problem somewhere.

big tight ones, ain't dat right dc? can't have no moderators runnin'
around unmoderated. an unmoderated moderator can go on a
moderatin' frenzy unless he's closely moderated.
