Again nice shooting I'm getting the itch to set up another handgun and see how I can do at the range first. Thanks for all of the great posts.

Do you wear hearing protection while hunting with a handgun?

No but it has never bothered me, just a guess but I think it might have something to do with the woods dampening the sound. I've had .22 pistols ring my bell on the range when I had forgot to put in ear plugs.

Nice shooting, been practicing with my S&W 17-3 with 8 3/8" but with 3x scope . Have to wait a few more weeks here in Iowa, pic got my blood flowing for handgunning squirrel.

Interesting thanks.
Ive hesitated on pistol hunting because of the potential of hearing damage.
Ive had a enough hearing loss from dove hunting and shooting over the years.
Im glad it doesn't bother you.
