Its that new math. Sorry it was a typo and I'm paying .24 cents. Or was paying that. I found some for .227 cents including shipping and bought a thousand rounds.

I remember buying Hornady for 6.80 a box of 50 and still have some left. That was when the market was flooded with it during the peak of the 17 rimfire craze.

Here in mn it has been 14/ box for a long time. A few Lgs's wil go one sale for 12, but I am lucky because my closest Lgs still sells for 10/box in a case (10 boxes). I do not think you will ever see it below 10 again.

It was $9.99 around Indy when it first appeared and to my knowledge has never been lower. Most of that was bought up by guys who were reselling it at gun shows marked up 50-100%. I've ordered several bricks from Midsouth at $9.99 per box. Shipping for a brick was less than the cost of one box. The Gander Mtn. near us has been all over the place. Occasionally on sale for $12.99 but sometimes as high as $18 - $19. Right now Midsouth shows about $10.50 but out of stock.

Cabellas has Hornady Vmax on sale here in MI for $11.99 a box. Gander Mountain and Dick's both price matched it and CCI. My son and I spent the day hitting a half dozen different LGS. Every one of them had 17HMR ammo. A few even had 22 ammo.

The Cabela's in KC has the same "sale" for $11.99. Last brick I bought cost me $110 tax included at the Tulsa Gun Show a year ago. Prices this year were $14-$16...even saw some marked $18.99....yikes!
