home made fibor optic front sight

Well, I thought that I would share some pics of my NEOS front sight.

I took a Dremel type drill and shot a hole through the plastic sight and then used the drill to help remove some material to allow light to hit the rod. The rod is a HiViz large diameter tube.

It worked out well; I was prepared to get a new one if I messed it up.

Yes it sounds cool. Can't really tell though, I don't think your auto focus is working...

Thats a pretty cool idea. I want to do this on my Neos.

Do you know the exact diameter of the Hiviz tube you used? A part number would be cool too. I'm thinking .135 diameter is what you used.

Any info appreciated.
