Exclamation Neos. Four or six inch??

Log in to see fewer ads
I am wanting to purchase a neos. The problem I have is that all the stores in the area don't have the 6 inch model in stock. I can get the 4" for $230 though. So my question is do I hold out for the 6, or get the 4 now? Is there an accuracy difference between the two? I know a longer sight radius helps but I have a red dot I'm gonna put on it, so that's not an issue. What I'm asking is if there is an accuracy difference in the longer barrel, all human factors aside.

inherently, gun accuracy isn't changed much by barrel length. With a red dot the 4" will be just as accurate in your hands as the 6" would be in your hands.

You want the 6 inch. It looks a heck of a lot better than the 4 inch. You may, in the future get your desired 6 inch. I can sense that you really know the answer to your question. Don't settle---wait for the 6 inch and be happy; it oozing out of your thread.

I agree. The 6" looks better and it's what you really want. I wouldn't settle either. And 6" barrels are a PITA to find.

I actually dont mind the looks of the 4" Neos. I was purely wandering about accuracy differences between the two with a red dot.

I don't think you'll see much difference in accuracy from the two. IMO, almost all handguns are more accurate than 99% of shooters.

I know that for$230 its a great price and must be blue. Have you thought about a stainless in 6". The other is 4.5" so there really isn't much difference. Is there someone who could do a transfer for you? If so you may be able to prepay for one, have it shipped and transferred and not pay sales tax on it. Don't know how it works in your state, but works that way here. Saves me money that way. But don't think you can do better than $230.

Thanks all. I decided to go ahead and buy the 4" neos, and I love it!!! Took it out back and ran about 150 rounds through it. Only 1 jam! Let's just say I am very happy with my purchase!!

I don't seem to have any accuracy problems with my 4½" Neos!

Ran about 500 rounds threw it today. I love this gun!! We were chasing soda cans around between 30-50 yards. We used Winchester and Federal bulk with no problems! So much fun!

I bought the 6" Earlier this month and love it. I put a Bushnell Trophy red/green dot scope Can't beat it for the price. I was really considering the Buckmark TActical before this one, but being eaxctly half the price did it for me.

All my 9mm hand gun buddies now want one as this is just a tad cheaper to shoot every weekend vs the 9mm.
