I have a Remington 510 TargetMaster, bought it about 25-30 yrs ago at a estate sale for $25, it looks like it took a ride in a cement mixer, shots great, I would love to have one when it was new.

Well my list is short, to complete some holes in the collection. A Stevens Maynard jr and a Remington 580. Other than the collection holes, an M1 Carbine, an 204 upper, and if we are talking to the gun genie a fully functional Thompson and unlimited ammo.

Man, where do you start, there's so many that I would like. Usually I want/ collect vintage sporters, but one that I've always wanted and never had is a NULA single shot 22lr. Just seems like it would be the ultimate "Going for a stroll" 22, if you know what I mean. Top if with a Leupold 2-7 or 4x rimfire and away you go.

I have a nice 1S Whelen. My first (and only) No. 1 and first Whelen. I do enjoy it a lot and it hits like a truck. I generally consider myself recoil sensitive or at least recoil aware and I donít mind the Whelen at all.

My standard answer is a 3/4 scale Ruger #1 in .22 LR.
Lately I've been daydreaming about an all steel and wood Ithaca 49 Single Shot .22.
Then there's always a Remington 40X Sporter.

There are lots of rifles I admire without feeling like I need to own, but as far as a dream list of what I would actually like to have and shoot:

Anschutz 1827F Biathlon
Feinwerkbau 300S Universal
Feinwerkbau 602 or 603
Feinwerkbau 2800W
Winchester 52 D or E set up for prone competition
Sig Sauer 200 STR Match
M1930 Krag Skarpskyttergevaer
Finnish Mosin M39

If I were to move out West again, I would add a custom-stocked Ruger no. 1 in 280AI.

You guys dream too small.

Back in the early 90s I bought my two registered full autos..A M2 Carbine, and a Mac M11-9..

But this was the one I really wanted bad..Just could not swing it financially at the time, and sure cannot now..Greatest .22 Rimfire of all time

Or it is to me..
