Here is to hoping your mail service is running better than mine!

From what I can see, Numrich/GunParts charges about what it cost me to mail mine to Maddogkelly, so unless shipping was expensive, you did OK.

Cheers,
Bob S.

Mail service around here has been pretty spotty..
Seem to have a different mail carrier every other day.
Even Midway mail is slow.. usually Midway is super fast.
And what's up with the U-Haul trucks hauling the mail?
Mail lady said they didn't have enough vehicle's or driver's.
Makes me want to get a part time job.

Finally my flat magazine release showed up.
Installed.. perfection!
Then..just for the heck of it.. made one out of the extended one..
Cut it off with the kitchen table knife.
Fired up the DeWalt orbit sander..
Turned out beautiful!! Cannot tell which is which.

Doug... I've done three more .
Yes..I could have saved a bunch of jimminycricketts...
It's so eazy... I just chop off the extension with a heavy duty kitchen knife.. ( old hickory)...
Then fire up the DeWalt orbit sander.
And simply , by hand shape it to the desired shape.
I just hold the DeWalt upsidedown and hold the magazine release and shape it with my fingers. The orbit sander won't hurt your fingers.
Gives a smooth finish and keeps the curve nice and pretty.
You really cannot tell the difference between a homemade one ,and a factory original.

Thank you Doug.. should have listened to you.
