Went to the range and added a boupod to my rifle
When using the pod accuracy went to crap
maybe the pod i putting stress on the stock .

Well the zytel forend has a lot of flex. So if you are loading up on the bipod , yeah itís gonna flex, And if it flexes thats gonna put stress on the barrel, and accuracy might suffer.
But I donít think free floating the barrel is gonna be possible, just too much flex to ensure that barrel doesnt touch when the bipod load is on.maybe you could bed the barrel and float the action. But your best bet is to pull the bipod of&, and shoot from a rest

When I used bipods, i always put the feet on a cushion, like a garden knee pad, or a canoe cushion, so the load pressure went intothe cushion, not the gun.
