No complaints here. Good ammo for the price. Might not be the most accurate round out there but it shoots pretty decent out of my 10/22's and never had any issues with FTF's or FTE's ever.

I haven't ever got my hands on very much of this, but for the stuff I've had, its the best bulk ammo I've ever run. Would buy it over Federals, Winchester ###'s, Golden Turds, etc, any day.

Was it CCI manufactured or Federal manufactured and do you know the difference?

.22LR 40gr Blazer has historically been manufactured both by CCI (Lewiston ID) and Federal (Anoka MN). All I have ever seen on Colorado's Western Slope is the 'Cascade Cartridge' product (black bullet, C headstamp). I understand those east of the Great Divide have seen Federal product (silver bullet, F headstamp).

I find CCI Blazer comparable to Federal Premium Gold Medal HV Match (#719) in performance and consistency, but it is slightly dirtier.

I know that the 500 round bricks of Blazers have been manufactured by both CCI and Federal. I’ve had several of each. Not sure about the 525 round “‘BULK PACKS” though….never purchased any of those. It would be easy to tell the difference by Lot Numbers though.

I just got back my 22/45 from the recall and some other work. Ruger tested the gun with Blazer 40 grain. Must be good enough for them and me. I just bought 10 boxes from Palmetto.
