G.B. auction - less than one hour left.

Not mine and I have no affiliation with seller.
Got mine last year, so I thought I might pass this one along.

Good luck, Paul

$710 ? Good Lord - that is a lot of money !

But for a lifetime of plinking and hunting (if they like), a good investment.

Fortunately, I hate the look of those full stock hog back thingys! I'm saving up for the Bergara 40X clone when it comes out. I have lots of Rem700 tidbits to use including a beautiful stock!

That was the way I was...a long barrel guy...until I bought my first one at the recommendation of my very best friend here at RFC one Jeff Miller...well after I got it and shot it and fell in love with them today that is all I look at those ugly hog back stock rifles: FS and Lux/Trainer.

Got to agree with Todd, those hogs have good backs on them to lay your cheek on sort of like my smoke poles.

Sir no harm no foul.. I thought for the longest time that they were short and ugly and why in the world would anybody want to get one of those.

For about 4 years before I got my first hog back rifle my older brother and I would go over to Cedarville to spend 7 to 8 hours a day shooting gophers out of a shooting chair. well back in april of 2015 on our second day of shooting my neck and shoulder was starting to hurt again...so I switched to my CZ Trainer rifle...after the rest of that day I realized my neck and shoulder was not hurting any more...so I switched back to my 7 rifle collection I always take with me...and I was right back in pain again because of my head tilt to keep a good sight picture as I rotated around looking for gophers to shoot...the day I got home from that trip I went on the hunt for two rifles: a 452 FS in 17hmr and a 452 Lux in 22 mag.

Bottom line the hog back rifles fit me better.

Signalman This is my brother's new shooting chair still being worked on in this picture.

A man has got to be comfortable when shooting.

And getting a shave and haircut at the same time is a plus!

I almost pulled the trigger on a cz 455 fs but by the time it was all said and done it would have been $550 out the door when I can get a 457 American for $410 or lux for $440.
