TS,

I have had it all apart, just neglected to capture it on film. Mostly would have shown me cursing and searching under the bench floor very small very important parts! Yes, if one were to go so far as add adjust-ability to an 7-2, for the stage one resistance, it would entail drilling and tapping right below the spring attachment on the inside bottom of the trigger assembly. Then find an nice threaded rod to match the threads, flatten the bottom end and slot for screw-driver. On the top of this and inside the trigger housing would be an "end cap" with an attachment point for the end of the spring. So as you loosen the threaded rod (back it out) is extends the spring adding tension. The end cap is not threaded but picture a ball end on the top of the threaded rod, and an end cap with a ball shape crown with a slot on one side to allow the rod and ball end to enter but not leave under stress. so this basket like end assembly keeps mechanical attachment to the threaded rod as it turns and does not itself turn. The actual part is even nicer because it has machined sides which "ride" in an race provided to further ensure no spring twisting. It is an small part, and it will try very hard to blend in with whatever is on the floor under your bench.
