No go on the LH Tikkas--but they did reply and check, and also explained the process of buying a rifle across borders and importing. An extra $200, I GUESS I'd spend that to get a LH T1x. We'll see if they ever get any in.

I'm kind of doubting we'll ever see them in North America. First of all, rimfire is low profit margin for them. Second, LH are at best 10-12% of the population. I'm not seeing the incentive for them to go through all the customs headaches and export a bunch of rifles to the U.S. or Canada.

It's hard to say, Stoeger Canada is already set up as a distributor for Tikka, so it's no problem for them if they decide to bring LH T1x's into Canada. The low demand will be a factor, I don't know how many rifles they have to commit to if they place an order.
If I see any appear on our web site stores I'll let you know.
I'm wishing for a heavy barrel, wood stocked Varmint version myself.

You never know. They brought in low numbers of LH Tac A1 rifles (308 and 6.5CM) last year. My impression was low double digits. They won't bring the varmint centerfire rifles, but apparently that was niche enough to import. Maybe if enough folks are asking...
