It is a holiday weekend so maybe that why?

I have one and clean it Just like a regular ole 87/187 'gill gun' so that's to say a little Break Free CLP on the bolt aka not too much oil. They aren't so common mine has exceptional wood.

I have many 87A and 6A variants. I typically put 1 drop of oil on the bolt and the hammer, spread it on with my finger, then lightly wipe of the excess. That's it. These don't require much lubrication and to much will actually gum them up quickly.
