Sometimes you make a score. I picked up a New Haven 600A 12 gauge pump in decent shape. It is a store brand Mossberg 500. Shoots quite well. I picked it up and a barely used Ruger LCR 38 for $432 otd. It was all the cash I had on me and they took it. I hate to think what the gave for them. They were out of pawn so it was not much.
That pawn shop has new owners and their prices are through the roof.

That, and I find they want more than it would cost to buy new.

I agree JTJ. Lesptr raises a good point, but often there are "deals" out there in the pawn shops. A lot depends on how bad the shop may need the cash flow at the time.

Thats a very nice restoration of a classic. Not bad at'all for an octogenariun ...

Single shots carry very nicely in the woods.

Tnx JR! If I could only keep ONE shotgun, it may be this one.

I remember some years ago finding a '.410 barn gun' for sale for what I considered cheap at the time. A RFC link to the thread.

Still have it and it works fine. A dollar store eyeglass case can hold enough .410 for a morning stroll and takes up little room.
