I have just applied for a 1710.. Application now in purgatory, probably 8-12 weeks for the it to go through..

I need to order some scope rings, and wanted to know if anybody has a 30mm scope, with 42mm objective on their 1710?

What is the lowest possible rings I can order, but also clear the barrel?

Assuming that's a long scope like a 20x, I think Weaver bases, either 91(gloss alloy) or S91,(steel) and Leupold low PRW (fixed)or QRW rings( QR) would work well.
Ages ago, I had that combo on one of mine.

ps: For Burris sig rings, I'd rather use the above Weaver bases than the J+P delrin adapters. I like J+P products, but I can't warm up to a delrin product which might slip.

I used the JP ANSCHUTZ 11mm to WEAVER SCOPE RAIL ADAPTERS, with the Burris Sig rings. I think I used the high.

BKL

I think the standard height would clear the barrel fine. Love the BKL on my Annies.

Talley LIGHTWEIGHT ALLOY 30mm LOWS with a Night Force 42X-44mm scope.

Is that low enough, and if not you could try the EX-LOW.

They use your Anschutz tapped mounting holes which I really like.

However I now have a DIP rial on the rifle, but you can still get rings low enough from several companies that will put you scope just above your barrel.
I have rails on all of my rifles which allows me to swap scopes in about 30 seconds.

A British company, Sportsmatch, makes a very sturdy 11mm groove mount ring. They offer both 1" and 30mm sizes in low, med, and high. Medium height will provide the clearance for a 42mm obj, with dust covers.

I use Burris Signature rings on all my rifles. I like them because they NEVER leave ring marks on the scope and with the optional +/- inserts you can get anywhere from 5 to 40 MOA external adjustment if needed. I'm not sure whether or not Burris offers their standard Sig. RF rings in 30mm, but if not you can either use a Picatinny rail or (my preference) a pair of J&P Delrin adapters to use Burris Signature Zee Rings. I'd think medium height should work just fine. If you choose Delrin adapters, be sure to torque the ring base screws to 25 in./lb or maybe a little more. I use 30.

Oh, and it you do go with the Delrin adapters from J&P be sure to get the ones for Anschutz, as they are arched. Others are flat.
