My B14R bolt has lots of bolt contact during lockup. Gun has 6 or 7 thousand rounds through it.

The trigger deal is nice, I went to a Jewell trigger with safety a few months back. I have some nerve damage in my hand from my work or my buddy’s Ruger Bisley custom in .475 Linebaugh.
Anyway it works well at 8 ounces, have had Zero problems with it, install was a 5 minute project.

The BMR has the same chamber as the B-14. Same ammo recommended by Bergara. The BMR is intended for a cross hunter precision market, particularly those with a non-tactical look to them. It has a redesigned action specific to rimfire and therefore different magazines as well.

Second “ lug” on bolt for BMR

The extra “ lug “ is just a guide to make sure the bolt handle stays aligned properly when cycling the bolt. I hated the 455 action because if you cycled the bolt rapidly, the bolt handle could rotate down before the bolt was closed. A lot of people had marks in the stock from that design flaw. That mark can be seen on rifles on you tube for review, but I did not see it mentioned. I asked Bergara about that second “ lug on the BMR bolt.. The 455 I have is too easy to put the bolt handle in closed position with the bolt withdrawn.

It also gives them something for the NRL22 base class where the B14 is expensive,

I got the steel barrel verson from ScopeInc.com. Decent price. Once they got the FFL it arrived in 2 1/2 days.
Shoots as well as my CZ 452's.

I did great with mine tonight. Easily under moa and on target with non-precision ammo.
