Trip to range this morning.

Up and about, look out after there is some light. Looks like a great day to go shooting. Load truck up with two rifles, 3 handguns and all the stuff it takes to feed them. Well everything I think they need. Except one thing. My targets, I said to my self as I put the last of the gear in the truck, get the targets and water bottle. I found the water bottle as I was unloading the truck at the range. Then remembered the targets are still on the table at home.

I spent 1/2 hour shooting at things other people left at the range. After shooting I cleaned up and went home.

End of story.

Great story, Chuck!
I know the feeling as I can't keep my grandkids names straight.

We are still out of town and have an ARA club match a few days after we get back. Should be interesting to see how it goes after not shooting for around a month.

Nice shooting, John.

Question:
I see your only three 50s are at the right side of the target and I seem to have the same issue, sometimes. I keep wondering if it is something in my setup or just me getting careless at the end of a row. Still learning precision shooting and run into constant questions. Robert.

Never Mind Chuck

I got it working. Came out in red instead of blue, but right size and better than black.

Im in the same boat as you buddy, Im still learning,, the three shots that are 50 are actually my first three shots. So I chock it up to figuring out the conditions,,, I was on a sight in target to the right of this one, then move on to the main target, bottom left,,, I always start from the bottom and work up , I figure that way there should not be any slack in my adjustment on my front rest as I work up, when I go down sometimes I get play that drops unexpected,, if that makes sense,,,
I dont know Im still trying to figure out flyers,,,, Ammo, set up,,conditions ,, me.?? So many little things to pay attention to really shoot accurate

Ken I just screenshot the target and sized “ cropped “ it so the circle where 1” , also though you can get the targets off Killoughs if you want to go that way.

Guys, the way I have it set up is to click on the target, it comes up larger than in the RFC post. Then click on it again and you should get a dropdown list. Click on the save or download and go from there. Don't forget to check the size, I find many printers will reduce the image to fit the paper. Only thing is I have already reduced the paper size to take care of that.

I like your new look, I have the same rifle. Its tempting. So did adjusting the headspace cure the failure to eject? It's hot so I will give you a day or so to report. What other bugs did you find?

I will be following your progress with this gun.

Green with envy

Yes sir,
I added two thousands of shims and Ive shot twice now from when I had the problem,, no issues so total 7 thousand shim for mine..Ive got probably 600 rounds through it now..
and not sure it needed it , but it was closer then I like, so opened up the Barrel channel some to give it more clearance, the At One flexes some and I didnt want it touching the barrel when it was on the rest,, it was really close, probably 1/16 away.

So far Im really happy with going this way, not that my accuracy was bad with the factory barrel , I just felt like I hade gone as far as it could go with this set up 1/4 to 1/2 groups at 50, and was looking for more,,
