I was wondering who has the lowest possible 30mm rings that fit the 1710 rifle?

I have a x42mm objective that I want as low as possible.

I think Weaver 91 or S91 bases, with Leupold PRW or QRW low rings, would give a good result.

I have Kelbly's on my 64 MS. They clamp to the dovetail, no bases required.

Chris, do you think those rings would work with a Leupold VX-6 3-18x44 SF Scope on a 1712 with Canyon Creek stock?

Doug, I'm using this rings on a 64 MS. As you know, the barrel is a little larger than a sporter. The fly in the ointment, I am using 1" rings with a Leupold 6.5x20 EFR scope. I do not see why the 30mm rings would not work as well. On a 44mm objective, I dunno.

Well, Chris, I ended up ordering a set of Warne Mountain Tech 30mm rings (Lows). The look great -- hope they work out.

The D3 rings look very good.

Before ordering you may wish to confirm with the manufacturer that they will fit on your receiver's grooves. The D3 rings may fit, but it may be worthwhile to ask before ordering.

Below is a picture of the Anschutz square 2007/2013receiver with the D3 rings. This receiver has a flat surface between the 11mm dovetail grooves.

Other Anschutz rifles have a curved area between the grooves.

I have a 30mm sightron 45x45 in 1.1 D3 rings on a 54.30. The quality and fit is perfect. Went with the extra height as i shoot free recoil. Pete is a real gentleman an good to Deal with (pun intended).Scott.

Hi ya'all, measured the gap between barrel and 45mm scope today with 1.1 inch rings. Came out at 19 mm which allows me to keep my head upright when sighting. D3 PRECISION offers rings at .5 and .7 of an inch. Scott.

Hi Doug,

I have 4 of the Kelbly rings which were originally made for Anschutz, the one pictured.

The rings fit on my NF 15-55x with a 52mm objective, they also fit my NF 42x 44mm with plenty of room to spare.
The rings don't fit on my NF 12-42x 56mm - no space, so 52mm objective is probably the largest you can go.

I have them mounted on 2013, 54.30, and 54.18 BR50, all with heavy barrels.

I think the rings are the best of the lot.
