Remington 37 Rear sight aperture

Log in to see fewer ads
I recently purchased an original Remington 37 rear sight that was missing the aperture. I have a number of sights and mistakenly thought one of my apertures would fit. However, Redfield apertures are too small and Anschutz apertures are too large.

Does someone know the correct aperture for this sight and where I might try to find one?

Thank you in advance for your help.
John

Don't know, but I know that adapters were made for going from the new style really low backlash sights to Redfield, so maybe an adapter can be found.

My 37 came with a Vaver or Vavier(sp.) rear sight. It mounts at a 45 degree angle on the left side of the receiver. Mine has an adjustable iris but I have seen fixed sizes.

Found one on eBay

I found the aperture I need on eBay. I paid too much, but such is life when you need something no longer made.

Now if I could only find the original style rear sight mount. I tried Steve Earle and they don't have any available. Anyone know somewhere else I might look?

Thanks for your help.
