Stopped into my local Sportsman's warehouse to look at an SR22.

No SR22s, no Walther P22s, no Taurus TX22. No .22 ammo. The whole world seems to be out of everything other than the junk nobody wants.

Hhmmm, I've not done a review of all the gun stores here, but the gun store in my home town has pretty full handgun shelves and 20% ammo shelves full. Yeah, 22 ammo is short at this store, still. But did get a stinger ammo 100 pack at Sportsmans Warehouse last week, could have bought more. Overall I'd say availability noticeably better than 2 months ago.

I got three 325 round boxes of Federal at Walmart for $18.95 a box last Friday, this week it had jumped to $21.95 a box… still available, but pretty significant jump. Sportsman’s Warehouse had 300 round boxes of CCI for $36 a box. I picked up a S&W M&P Compact 22LR pistol at Sportsman’s Warehouse for retail, also got another P17 at my LGS for under $200 with 3 mags. My Ruger LCP-II in .22LR shoots the Federal real well. Let’s go Brandon!

LGS has a six foot, three shelve case full of them, about the only popular one missing is the Keltec P-17, guess it depends on the buying group you're in.

Sportsman's has always been abysmal in its product re supply. Not thinking it's recent acquisition combined with the state of the world has helped any. They were slow on the uptick on the slump, try a local shop.
