fiber optic flip up front sight for AR style rail

I'm looking for a high visibility, large light pipe diameter, fiber optic flip up front sight for an AR with 1913 rail suitable for use with a carry handle rear sight... the fiber optic inserts with the standard sight inserts are way too small for what I'm looking for...it will be used for Steel Challenge, and I'd like it to simulate the look of a red dot scope..... other than the Striplin, can anyone head me into the right direction?...thank you

The flip up part has me stymied. Would QD suffice?

zukiphile... thanks for your response... the sight that Striplin makes is designed to work with a full length hand guard on a 1913 rail, giving good head position... I ordered one from them as it was exactly what I wanted to try...it seems to be the only flip up fiber optic on the market at this time.... thank you

shot a pistol&rifle rimfire challenge match Saturday... not too stellar of a performance, especially the pistol with a iron sights and a dab of paint... the Striplin fiber optic front sight worked well for the SBR, but I need a lot more practice...the ordered fiber optic pistol sight did not arrive prior to the match, but should be here today.... I ordered one of the take off barrels from Volquartsen, a 5.5" bull, so that will become a dedicated "irons" upper, and leave the HS510 mounted on the MK IV Lite...any day at the range is a good day

I just had an idea. I used to have a SeeAll open sight. I used it as a red dot before my eye surgery as an occlusion sight and didn't like it.

Could you put one on a spacer and position it forward like a front sight? It surely does draw one's attention.

Zukiphile... thank you for the response... I went ahead and bought the Striplin sight set, but use the GI rear carry handle sight... a little pricey, but good quality and a bright dot... the whole fiber optic thing is new to me after looking at black fixed sights for a lot of years... pic of the upper

I might try the SeeAll again.

Do you have a barrel extension to get your effective muzzle beyond your handguard, or is that a gasblock shoulder?

I bought a 10 inch handguard for my barrel, but I have a 12 inch as well that leaves the muzzle 3.5 inches back from the end of the handguard. I don't really want a muzzle device, but I also don't want fingers getting in the way of the flying crud.

the gas block shoulder is the line about 1/3 back from the front of the second MLok slot on the side (a little less than 3" from the muzzle) the lightened color is where the front sight tower marred the Parkerized finish when it was tried...I wanted about 1/2" exposed in case I later wanted to thread it for a compensator
