With this being a relatively new cartridge and Winchester being the only manufacturer,
all of the current 17 wsm is being made on the new Winchester wsm production machines.
If they maintain those machines properly the production quality ought to stay good enough
to produce a decent varminting cartridge. If Winchester lets the maintenance slide,
it has me wondering how long until we start seeing split necks and wild strays
becoming a regular occurrence, like it did with it's 17hmr cartridges.
