I certainly do. My grand daughter cuts my hair. She is a licensed beautician that is currently out of a job because our guv has closed almost everything in the state because it's nonessential. She will be around to give me a haircut now that it's been two weeks at home for her now. She's very protective of grandpa and grandma and isn't about to take a chance on bringing the bug to us.

My wife has been cutting my hair for well over 10 years and does a great job.
I have bought a couple Rugers with the cash I have saved.

Grand daughter came out and cleaned me up this afternoon. I'm good to go for awhile.

I am considering checking Amazon for clippers, cutting it short and using a razor to go bald. I was due for a cut 3 weeks ago. Might as well change my screen name to Shaggy.

About 12 years ago I decided to go back to getting a buzz cut and when I told the barber to do it that way he told me to get a note from my wife before he would cut it all off. Right now I NEED a hair cut but have decided to just let it grow out till this is over, who knows, maybe I'll leave it long again.

I paid $40 on Amazon last August. They have updated models for about $8 more with lithium ion batteries. Try a search for “Remington vacuum” on Amazon.

In my area, this paid for itself with one visit to the haircutters. It works pretty well, it doesn’t vacuum up all the hair being clipped but it’s very minimal and easy to clean up if you keep yourself leaned over the sink. I used to use a corded Wahl but I like the Remington better for cordless convenience and less hair to clean up. It also works in corded mode in case you forget to charge it, however it does last a long time between charges.

I have a Norelco clipper where the comb adjusts, not separate ones like Remington's. I just set it for 1/4 inch and run it all over my head. Then remove the comb, trim edges, and done. With two mirrors, it's not hard and I'm done in 30 minutes. I haven't paid for a haircut in 20 years. My Norelco is about ten years old and IIRC was $20. Have no idea what the newest version costs.

Hook the Flowbee type cutters to a real vacuum. Then you won't have even one hair on the counter top or floor. Wash your hair, dry and then cut it. The better the suction the better the cutter pulls your hair straight out so it can be cut evenly. It basically does the exact same thing a barber or stylist does...pull you hair out to a predetermined length where it is clipped. I doubt many barbers can be as accurate.
What it does not do is thin hair in really thick areas where thinning scissors might be of benefit. Will also not give you a close shave on the neck. But, if the vacuum is weak it won't perform as well. 1917

My son and I both need a cut badly. I just got a text from the gal that cuts our hair and she said she will start cutting live people's hair in about two weeks.

My last visit to the barber was in 1970. He did such a bad job, I came home and told my wife that she was going to learn to cut my hair.

So, my haircuts aren't free; they cost me everything I make.

I started cutting my own hair 18 years ago.

I've spent <$50 in those 18 years on haircuts. 2 clipper kits, the one I currently have is probably 10 or so years old, likely to last another 10 years, USA made Wahl!

Good time to go out and buy a USA made Wahl hair cut kit and figure it out. Trust me, the time and money saved is well worth it!

This guy needs one, now that he's on the mend. Maybe a comb at least...
