Know absolutely nothing about these guns, other than ammo is usually hard to find and not cheap.....Saw one at an LGS in my travels thru the wilds the other day. About 85%. What would be a ballpark fair price? Loads and extracts. Bore looks good to the naked eye.

I have several shops in my area carry the new ammo all the time and it is available online in the low $20's per box of 50. Not super cheap but way better than before. It seems like the 591's in good shape I see in my area are typically in that $350-500 range depending on what they come with.

Take a close look at the magazine and make sure it is not split along the seam at the front top. Magazines are about $80-125 for factory and Trekker makes a good 3D printed mag. If you don't want it to badly I would be at $300. Asking prices are often higher.

The 5MM is a hunting round and not well noted for acute accuracy.

And now that someone is making it again, not noted for being affordable, either...
Otherwise I'd use mine more.

Well, it sold for about $410 before I could get back to it. Just as well, all things considered, I would (probably) not have paid that for it, anyway. Probably worth it to a 5mm enthusiast.

Yes. I wouldn't have bought the two I have if they weren't dirt cheap.

For that kind of money, I'd go ahead and get a 22 Hornet and be done.

It wasn't too many years ago that you couldn't give a 5mm away.

The pipsqueak of CFs. Might as well get a 223/5.56 and be done with it eh?

Times a-changing.

"Pipsqueak." In the angling world, I believe they've begun to call it "finesse."
