Hey duckdvr26, you have to insert a milspec buffer backward into the end of the buffer tube before inserting the spring. This limits the rearward travel of the Garrow bolt. If you do not do this, the Garrow bolt travels too far aft and hangs up on the hammer.

Garrow Firearms????
anyone heard from Garrow since November? The website is back up, but I still get no communication from Mike. I have a failed bolt, which I returned to him last November. He promised to replace it as soon as he found another supplier. I understand logistical issues, but has anyone actually heard any news on the business?

Finally got mine to run. Swapped into a different lower with a different buffer tube. Runs like a clock now. Pretty baffled on that one. Nice shooting gun when I do my part.
