AAs upper is designed to bolt on their lower. They are very clear about that

Goes on any milspec AR15 lower based on what I've read on their website. Upper comes with kit to add to your lower...

The Alexander Arms lower receiver is standard mil-spec, but there are a few differences in the parts...ie a mag well adapter and no bolt catch.

Mine has been trouble free.

Too bad the AA requires parts changing as this would be just 1 of a few uppers I run. That was one of the nice things about GFD’s was a buffer swap and you were off and plinking.

I bought the GFD upper a couple of years ago and love it. I watched the first prototype video on YouTube and waited a couple of months after the product was released to buy it. It makes me sad to see this happen to small companies trying to take off.

Yea it is too bad, it was still up a few days ago. I wonder how many more are out their like me about to get screwed out of their money?

The GFD requires parts changing as well... it does not work with a standard AR buffer system.

I've found, for me, ARs I use a bunch are better with dedicated lowers, uppers that only come out at certain times, they get stored without a dedicated lower... lowers are pretty cheap theses days.

Me probably...I hope I can work it out with my credit card company. It seems there may be hope because they let me open a dispute.
