All you have to do is touch the ten ring, so even bull 5 and maybe 24 on the 1st target, along with bull 11 on the 3rd look like tens.

Smooth.

Smooth.
I was looking at like 22 and 23 on the 3rd target. I didn't realize it only had to break the outside green ring to be a 10. Thank you.

Yep, just touch the ring, and it's bull #11 on the 3rd target that's the most suspect.

We used the IBS target for the 1st year of my ranges brand new rifle rimfire Benchrest match back in 2018.
We used it because the range already had 1000 of the targets.
Since 2019 we have been shooting the much harder USBR target.

Anyway the photo below is my test target that I shot to see how difficult the IBS target would be.
Turns out, not very difficult.

The two scores you see are best edge (249-16X) and worst edge (241-4X).
At the time I scored the target I didn't have a scoring plug, but for this photo I rescored it with a plug which dropped one point off my worst edge total, but added an X to the best edge.
If you look at bull #12, you'll see how small the non plugged hokes were.

So we decided to use worst edge scoring, and also decided that you would need to completely remove the X dot for an X, not just touch it.
That scoring methodology severely effects both the score, and the X count.

By using worst edge scoring, and having to remove the X dot, the target became about 90% as difficult as the USBR.

After just now rechecking my best edge score after I took the photo, the correct best edge score is 249-16X, not 249-12X.

10/22 Ultimate Thread

What kind of 10/22 build is that? Chacon?

There's only 2 10/22 style rifles pictured in this thread. The first one is a Kidd Supergrade and the 2nd one (which I assume your asking about) was described by the owner as

"10/22 has a Larry Jennings stock (purchased here on this forum), Midway barrel with a Harrell tuner, Kidd trigger and bolt."

Nope, you missed the target, but you did cut paper. I was referring to the target posted by Smooth. Very good shooting for a Kidd setup.

Oh, it was my rifle. Thanks for the compliment.

So 100% Kidd Supergrade from 2014.
The rifle was advertised as the best of KIDD, and came as a complete package.

Came straight from KIDD in the McMillan stock that is pillared, and machined cut so tight that it's almost bedded.
KIDD receiver, bolt, rod, spring, buffer, 2 stage trigger and 20 inch SS Match barrel. Only non KIDD item is the magazine.

The only thing really unique is that the barrel is threaded into the receiver.
Not pressed in and held by screws.
I think that option disappeared sometime in 2015

And yes it shoots fantastic, nearly as good as the better high end bolt target rifles.
The 2 USBR targets in post #6 shows it at its best.

I didn't miss it, lol. I just assumed you had seen where he described it in post #11. But then again I don't believe he mentioned using that rifle to shoot the target so I understand why you asked.

Actually I did if you read the line directly above the 1st target in post #6, sorta.
It was not directly said, but it states it was shot with the rifle as set up in the 3rd photo.

Anyway I deliberately cleaned that up in my post #23.

This rifle w/o the tuner but with the Sinclair F-Class Bi-pod and Protector rear bag (not Shown).
The rifle is a 1727F-22 that I had ANA restock into a 1927F CISM stock.
Because the rifle was a Sporter it did not come with a Match Chamber, but instead the usual Sport Chamber which is long enough to handle any .22 cartridge.
Beat all of the match chambered competition.

Went on to win the Championship.

This is the rifle as it came form Anschutz before the stock change.
These photos were actually taken by ANA.
