Both sun vs. shade and hot vs. cold can change POI. Always a good idea to run some test shots at a sighter to make sure things are good before proceeding with shots for score.Today I was shooting in bright conditions and cold temp [ about 40 deg]. I had to lower the elevation setting by about 12 clicks to center my groups. Almost no wind. What causes the rise in Point of impact from my previous settings? The last time I shot it was hot and I was in the shade.
If you care where your shots are going then you're at that point. And at what point does your choice of ammo start to effect your scores?
A lot of "X's "in that one, and very consistent individual targets, just proves how difficult it is to make 480. Great shooting Bob.Another day, still creeping toward that 480, want it so bad I can taste it.
I guess age is catching up to me, it didn't used to be this hard...

My hold was better than usual today, but I Really had to concentrate on my followthru. No good excuse for the 8s today, pure lack of F/T.
Probably will be my scope entry, I need to move on to the irons.
Happy I was at least able to crack the 480 barrier, it's been so long...
All the best,
Bob4BVM
