That top scope is actually A Tasco Custom Shop 10-40X56mm. It was made on the same production line as the Uncannily similar Nightforce scopes, and at the same time. It is also the same scope Chief Dave used when he shot his [email protected] with HMR, so I figured it must be good enough. It will hold its own if used in competition, that's all I need.

just used it in the field this weekend...

blew up the back..but had to finish up with a headshot...80-100 or so yards

nope....but the headshot kinda was explosive enough that it popped out it's eye....but we did have a great dove hunt!
I was shooting offhand and little time..hence the crappy first shot

77/17hm2 w/VQ sear/spring mod (VERY GOOD MOD!!!!), I also tried the timney and found it wanting compared to the VQ, leupold VX-1 2-7 x 33 with stoney point knobs... this gun devours Eley's... love's em
