Hey guys I want to set up photo sticky of your rifle, scope and ring mount set up because of a few things:
#1 the list of CZ rifles and which rings fit which scopes is good but a picture would be a lot better.
#2 with all the new scopes coming out with larger Ocular the old list is really not up to date.
#3 I want to help the new guys just starting out with their rifle and scope set ups
#4 I own a few different brands of rifles and I would like for people who never owned a Marlin or a CZ to be able to see what really works and how it looks on a certain rifle.
So I am not limiting this to just rimfire or one brand of rifle or scope. Centerfire would be nice.
So I am asking some of the seasoned vets and some newbies like:
GMD1950. Bandit1250, Moedum1, JMK, Slappy22, SavagePlinker, Wonderdog1, Hickorynut, Savage99fan, Timberbeast, Pump22, SDBigDFog1955, Buckweet, Hobbiest, Flash_80, DBR65, DInghram, Flangster and my best friend Jeff Miller.
and the rest of you who want to help me get this done. I could use your help.
Any brand or combination is welcome here. Please include all information you can think of that would help other members here with their scope buying and mounting problems. Be as detail as possible...make, model, magnification, ring size and height.
Side note: We could use some help from the Leupold guys with the new Freedom 3-9x scopes which ones will fit behind a Tangent sighted CZ rifle ??
I am starting this with some of my CZ rifles and will add other brands as time allows:
This is my CZ 452 Varmint in 22mag with a V-16 and Weaver Grand Slam rings #49219 A/O adjust below 30 FEET.
Next up is my CZ 452 FS in 17hmr with a Grand Slam 4-16x scope and Burris 420076 rings. The scope is only 11.5" long which can fit behind most CZ rifles with Tangent sights. A/O adjust to 25 Yards.
CZ 455 with a V-24 and Burris 420554 medium rings. A/O down below 50 FEET
CZ 527 Royal in 223 with GS 5-20x 50mm with Burris 420140 rings A/O down to 25 yards.
All my scopes are Weavers in these pictures and all have 1" tubes. I don't have any bolt clearance problems with any of them.
I hope you guys find this helpful and thanks for your help on this
Signalman
