I am looking to get one of these. I am interested in its performance value. A little bit about my intentions...I shoot CMP Rimfire Sporter matches and the occasional Appleseed weekend clinic. I am a traditionalist. I like the wood stock and the ability to slap on a 1” GI-type sling on it (either a cotton web sling or an M1907 leather type). After market will likely just consist of a top rail and 3-9 scope. So as you can see, I keep it pretty bare bones.

I've got 2-3 of them. I admit I had Randy at CPC work them over with his magic. As I recall , He mentioned that they can be hit or miss (like any factory barrel) I've had exceptional luck with mine, and they shoot very well.

I've got a Leupold 2-7x one one rifle and a Weaver 3-9x A/O on the other. Sorry no good pic of mine. It's the one on far right...

Looks like some nice wood on the 1022.
