RUST HANDLING AND PREVENTION--THE FINAL CHAPTER!!

So far, nobody but us Winchester guys have this data consolidated into two great threads. Up to December of 2011, the solution put forth here is probably the last word in restoring your old rusty Winchester without damaging the original bluing whatsoever.

Bolts--69A vs 72/72A

One of the fellas queried me about needing a bolt for his 72A and when I went to find a reference couldn't find the specific illustration. So here is a new reference for usage.

69A vs 72A. 72A bolt on the bottom and then on the right. See that extra metal just in front of where the bolt knob attaches to the body? These two are not interchangeable! Notice also that the front of the bolt just behind the extractors has a totally different contour.
