nordicmarksman has these listed at 1995.00.
but are out of stock. I saw in a auction listing that Im going to this weekend that as of right now only a limited run of 50 were made. Idon't know for sure but I'm going to try to get this one!

I gotta say I am not knocked out by the styling. I don't like rubber butt pads on .22s, actually don't care for them on much of anything. The lack of a steel forend cap just says cheap to me, after all Ruger has them on their 10-22 Internationals and those sell for far less. The stylized checkering turns me off, I don't think it will prove attractive years hence. Several years ago I had a Styer Mannlicher rifle in 8x53, it had all the classic lines and details, a thing of beauty. Had it looked like the Zepher II I wouldn't've bought it.

I say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Steyr has always been an acquired taste. That's a big part of their appeal to me.

I would rather it had a forend cap and not have the foreward checkering but it still has an appeal. Like to hold one and get a good look.. Glad it has sights. Dont think a. full stock looks good without sights. I see them on GB but they. are showing stock photos of the standard gun and advertising the full stock.

I have one of the zephyr 2 full stocks and love it.I agree you really have to hold it in your hands to appreciate it as I find the pictures just don t do it justice.I was lucky with mine stock wise as since I live close to Nordic Marksman I was able to go in and pick my gun,the one I chose had dark wood with some nice grain to it .All and all I am quite pleased with it.Like it’s been said the Zepher is not really meant to be bench rifle more of a woods walking rifle

I just got mine today and love it. The complaints about the lack of a cap at the end has nothing to do with being cheap. It has to do with keeping the barrel free floated for better accuracy. The additional checkering is different but once you see one in person it’s not that bad. If I had to make one complaint it would be the lack of a nicer trigger guard. The only other issue is if you are a left handed shooter the grip is designed for a right handed shooter. My dad is a lefty and said it was not comfortable. I’m not sure if Steyr makes one for lefty’s. I will be taking mine to the range this week to see how well it shoots.

I shoot mine left handed as my left eye is dominate and while not perfect I find it not that bad pluswhile hunting I normally wear gloves so it isn’t t a problem at all then .The only complaint I have is that while hunting with the full stock I have accidentally hit the mag release and the mag dropped out causing me to almost lose it .I find it easy to hit the release and have to watch out for it while carrying it in the field

I find that natural light (versus artificial) really brings out the grain in the stock and just makes for a better pic overall.
