I haven't been very active here nor shooting the past couple years, but the few times I've visited rfc I've stopped by here. Have enjoyed it every time, thank you!
I've read about some .22 lr ELR, from Cutting Edge Bullets, would sure like to see some results with those, but not sure if they're out on the market. Not here, for sure. Centerfire prices+ I imagine. A test of those would be a nice way to go out with a bang.

I suppose if I can spend a dollar a cartridge for RWS 22wmr,
I can do without my morning donut, again, to finance a couple boxes of ELR.
Assuming it'll seat in a sporter or match 22lr chamber.

If you can get a hold of the ELR and have paypal I'll chip in half. I vaguely remember saying something along the lines of shooting some RWS. The fact it's still in my safe says it all. Don't want you running around without you morning donut too long 🙂

Might as well use up some of the bulk cartridges.

Not anywhere near the best ammo I've seen.
Too many defects visible to expect a tight group at 200 yards.





Holding the scope settings for 50 yards, aim point was the white bullseye.
Impact about 54 inches lower



Not as bad as CCI Copper...



Over 100 fps ES, ten inches of spread.
Expect 3.3 inches at 100 yards, 1.1 inch at 50 yards, 0.35 at 25 yards.
Short range hunting and plinking cartridges

These cartridges are not Winchester's best.
Dents, dings, uneven seating, bullet material compressed past the crimp on to the brass.
Cheap bulk hunting and plinking ammo for close range use.




Pretty hefty spread at 200 yards
