New High Standard Victor in the house

Went to the local shop to get an appraisal today and there, to my left, was a shiny gold trigger glinting in the display case lights. I tried to ignore it (especially because the wife was standing next to me) but, when I walked over to it...it looked brand new.
The tag said "Original Box & Paperwork, 2 Original Magazines"

It's an East Hartford Victor, 1979 vintage according to the serial number (ML46xxx), and now has a new home. Guess I'll be calling Alan for some more magazines soon!

No pics yet, we have a seven day waiting period...

Beautiful!! Very, very nice pistol....here's hoping it shoots as good as it looks. I have one just like it (ML series as well), barrel weight and all. If you are so inclined, what did you have to give for it?

Very nice Victor. Alan's mags are A+ . . . at least the two I acquired from him for my initial Victor. That reminds me I need to track down a barrel weight for the last Victor I brought home.

I have two other High Standard pistols and I always keep a spare set of springs on hand! (That's the first thing that will get changed!)
Thanks for the advice though! Others will read it and learn!

Congrats on the HS-V!

One of my mags has one fail in ~30 shots. The other has one fail in ~20 shots. Would love a 100% mag for my Victor.

So... who is this Alan guy? Does he put my mags into a rehab center out in the dessert, or does he sell born-again mags?

Any special hand-shakes required?
