Go fund me for 10/22 trigger comparison

If this has already been done. a chart of the complete collection of 10/22 trigger jobs, please post a link. Even a partial analysis in chart form or spreadsheet would be a good start.

Name Price Details (what you get) Value (maybe we could derive that ourselves).

That's a benefit of the 10/22. So many options. Who knows them all? Brimstone has three tiers. Kidd, VQ, and life goes on.

I don't know if there is anything about the 10/22 that has been covered more than the triggers.

Don't quite understand your title. What's the "Go fund me" for?

I can give a pretty comprehensive list of triggers for the 10/22 starting with the best.

-Kidd 2 Stage
-Kidd Single Stage
-Kidd Trigger Job Kit (same feel as single stage)
-Brimstone BX
-Brimstone Tier 1
-Timney Calvin Elite
-VQ TG2000
-Jard
-Brimstone Tier 2
-OEM CPC
-Brimstone Tier 3
-Hornet Triggers
-Tandemkross/Brimstone Kit
-VQ Target Hammer
-Power Customs Kit
-Clark Target Hammer
-BX
-DIY (depending on how good this could be higher on the list)

This is not a full list, but it does cover most of the triggers that people will use in their 10/22's. Also after the Brimstone Tier 2 many of them are very close and possibly up for debate IMO.

After dealing with dozens of 10/22's and different triggers this is just my opinion and not to say that any of these triggers are bad.

If someone wants to list all the prices and pull weights (most of which are variable) they're more than welcome. But I don't feel as though it's really necessary as all this information is easy enough to look up and has been covered many times.

Wow, you seem to cover all that I've heard of and in order!

The go fund me was a joke that fell on it's face. To actually spend the money to look into all the triggers would take some time and money and hence the "go fund me".

Given your list, current prices, etc can be looked up.

Thank you for coming through.

Don't forget the Tandemkross/Brimestone ultimate trigger kit. Just installed that kit in my 10/22 and it's pretty sweet. consistent 2lb pull with a nice crisp break and short reset.

Jard. Nothing to compare it to but it seems smooth and light.

Like I said not a full list. But I would probably put the Jard somewhere around the Brimstone Tier 2.

I added it to the list.

Tremendous list. If they make it sticky worthy, can it still be updated?

Leaving price out might be best because prices change. Also, we do tend to pay even more for slight improvements because they are worth it to individuals.

Thank you Nick.

Glad to see CPC OEM up there. (Got ours back from full tune-up a couple of weeks ago..)

Makes me feel better about sending off my BX to Brimstone.

CPC triggers are pretty good and the Brimstone BX is really good. I would have no problem putting either one in one of my 10/22 style rifles if they didn't all have Kidds.

The BX was such an improvement over OEM, I switched them at the range to be able to compare. Now I'm wondering if I should do the same thing with BX vs CPC, before mailing the BX in.

Trigger made a world of difference to my shooting. I generally suck, so I take all the help I can get!

IMO they would be real real close to the same if compared.. I love Randy at CPC.. and on a OEM trigger (not BX) he does wonders.. but the OEM's are usually 5+ lbs... soooo to get them around 2.5-3 lbs. is considered mind blowing for some Gents. The BX should be right there..2.5-3 lbs. - Now, go with the best triggers such as KIDD and compare that to a BX.. not even in the same ballpark. The pull weight is just half of a good trigger pull/feel. Brimstone can improve the BX.. a tad... still NOT a KIDD. Sell your BX and buy a KIDD.

I've only had 2 CPC triggers but they were both considerably better than the many BX (non-Brimstone) triggers I've tried. Both my CPC triggers break cleanly right at 2.2#.

The Brimstone BX is good, but it's definitely not a Kidd as Chaser said.

There's no 'magic' trigger out there that is going to turn anyone into a great shot. A GOOD shooter can shoot groups with any semi-decent trigger. If you can't shoot good groups with a BX or equivalent trigger, you need to work on proper practice and fundamentals. A GOOD trigger helps the most with offhand, which most don't seem to do much of. Of course it's a free country, and people are free to spend their money on whatever they choose, and it keeps good companies in business and people employed. Good Luck
